About Mia
I tutor at my college as first. I go to a military school that instills peak professionalism in its students. I worked with all levels of confidence when it comes to math and science. Back at my school, I would confide in my professors to give me tips with tutoring different students, and have been advised by professors that I would make a great tutor (even for Writing).

I have just completed my first year of school. Classes like Calc II and engineering physics come very easily to me. This is due to my previous exposure to these courses in my preparatory high school. I have completed multiple AP, AB, and dual enrollment classes in high school for these subjects. I enjoy STEM, so I have a unique perspective when approaching it. I like to say math isn’t too hard to do, it just looks funny sometimes! I love to break down concepts to help kids see them differently than they did before. I did not have the best math skills early in high school but was able to improve by listening to different ways of explaining concepts.
