About Madhav

I am an Engineering student at McMaster University with over 7 years of experience in CAD and Additive Manufacturing. I've gained industry experience in R&D, Design for Manufacturability, Mechanical Design and Additive Manufacturing through multiple summer internships and various engineering firms. Engineering is my passion and I strongly believe that that along with academic skills, it is imperative for students to have a firm understanding of various engineering processes, and mechanical design techniques.

About the lesson

In my tutoring sessions, I focus on teaching not only the fundamentals of Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, and Fusion 360, but also the principles of designing for manufacturing with an emphasis on creating optimal, efficient designs. You'll learn the essential tools and techniques within each software, with guidance on navigating each feature for maximum productivity. My approach goes beyond just software basics, aiming to equip you with a deeper understanding of how to design effectively for real-world applications, streamline workflows, and make informed design decisions that prioritize functionality and manufacturability.

Perfect! I can’t say enough good things about Madhav. I started learning Fusion 360 from scratch and honestly came in with pretty weak computer skills, but he’s been incredibly patient and supportive while still keeping everything moving efficiently.

Madhav is extremely clear, organized, and methodical in how he teaches. What impressed me most is how quickly he identified exactly where I was getting stuck and then adjusted the lesson on the spot to target those weak areas. Every session feels productive, and I leave with real progress on my project (not just “theory”).

If you’re looking to learn CAD/engineering design—especially Fusion 360—I would 100% recommend Madhav. I’m planning to continue lessons with him long-term to really master CAD, and I’m genuinely excited for future sessions.
