About Luke
I am a British actor from London that trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (MA Classical Acting). I work as an actor and communication coach for several high profile businesses such as Apple, BMW, L'Oréal and Santander. I am a trained TEFL teacher having taught and lived in Spain and France and speak both French and Spanish fluently. I have a BA degree in English and French and I have been teaching accent reduction to English as a second language students for the last 5 years.

Having lived in France and Spain, I know the unique challenges of trying to express yourself with native speakers and how this can lead to both misunderstandings as well as some embarassment. While this is part of the journey (and the fun), I believe that some support can help people to maximise connection with others as well as greatly improve their job and social prospects. I begin by getting to know the student's needs and concerns, and while doing so take a diagnostic of where the student needs help. We will then set a certain number of classes to reduce accent and review progress regularly. I have taught students from Greece, Spain, France, Japan, China, Brazil, Russia and Italy to name but a few countries, so I have insight into the sounds that people struggle with and proven methods to help with their unique challenges. My goal is to build confidence so that students can express themselves easily and clearly, while celebrating the individual voices and accents that they have. Lessons are fun and engaging as well as being well planned and targeted.

Perfect! Nice introduction with Luke who has a good methodology and was able to spot immediately the things that can be improved. I certainly recommend him.

Luke is an amazing teacher and human being. With his knowledge and empathy he is able to connect to different type of students and guide them on a personalised journey to improve language, accents, breathing, elocution, projection and confidence in general.
