About Erin

I am a private tutor and have worked with elementary, high school, and college students for over a decade. I have also worked with adult students who speak English as a second language. My focus during any tutoring session is to help each individual student feel more confident after leaving that session.

About the lesson

My Approach to education is student-focused. This means that I take time to make sure that each student is comfortable working with me, clear about what they would like to accomplish during our time together and has a plan of action once we have finished each session.

Erin was great with my girls, ages 8, 12, and 16. She was extremely helpful when schools closed due to COVID. She helped my kids get organized and set goals to help keep them on track.

For Erin, it is not enough to know her material well (which she does). She also strives to create safe, welcoming spaces for everyone, and that is crucial in a learning environment. She is compassionate, caring, and a hard worker. I would recommend her to anyone.

Erin makes learning fun!

As a fellow educator and English teacher I can verify that she Erin is a highly qualified tutor, with an amazing ability to connect with children (while also keeping them on task).

Erin is a close friend of mine and I've observed her with my two daughters on many occasions. They adore her.

Please feel free to contact me if you would like to chat further about Erin's qualifications!
