About
I have been teaching and tutoring for over 10 years. I began working for an ELL program at a high school in Long Beach, CA in 2006 and loved it so much, I decided to become a teacher. In recent years, I taught English as a second language and found it to be very rewarding to do. I am a native English teacher who also tutored privately with the same students for over 5 years.

I use real-life themed lessons based on student level and desired outcome. I do implement reading, writing, and plenty of speaking. I enjoy meeting and connecting with my students. I also learn a lot from each one of them. Most of all, fun should be part of the process too.
