About Rachel
I've been a tutor when I was in high school and college. Homeschooling my three kids have been successful as I try making learning fun and not painful. Everyone learns at their own pace and learning style so I incorporate several types of learning styles until we can hone in and strengthen areas of weakness. I also help build confidence in children as they are sponges and sometimes need more reassurance they are doing a great job at learning.

My teaching method: repetition and practice both on your own time and one on one with me verbally to ensure proper reading comprehension, pronunciation, and spelling games.
I try to make things relatable to the student, and after homeschooling three kids, they are ahead of the curve when it comes to English, spelling, comprehension and other subjects. The lesson plan includes quizzes and homework assignments that allow students to flourish. Also, practice one on one to sound out phonics and tricks to remember spelling words.
