About Maria
Even though I’m originally from Brazil, I’ve lived in the United States for over 7 years, where I dealt with English in my daily activities. Not only English but also all the different cultures that I experienced while living abroad.
I understand how hard learning a new language can be, I also started from the bottom, and I can tell you just trust the process because the success will come!
My favorite hobbies are watching movies, binge watching TV shows - and commenting about them afterwards - and also traveling. I have traveled to over 10 states inside USA and also Canada. I love traveling and getting to know new cultures.
I’m very knowledgeable in various situations when using English.

Hi, I’m Maria, a fluent English speaker with 10 years of experience living and working abroad. As someone who learned English as a second language, I understand the challenges students face and know how to make the learning process easier, practical, and enjoyable.
My lessons are personalized based on your goals, whether you want to improve conversation skills, pronunciation, vocabulary, English for work, travel, interviews, or everyday communication.
I also have experience teaching through my 5 years as an English tutor for children ages 1 - 15.
My goal is to create a comfortable and supportive environment where you can practice without fear of making mistakes and build real confidence speaking.
