About Hannah
I am an English Education major looking to share my love and knowledge of writing with students who may have difficulties in that area. It's not for everyone and it's not always the easiest subject, but I believe that efficient communication skills will always lead students to success.

It is incredibly hard to write about something that you don't care about. My method is to encourage my students to apply what they're writing about to their own lives. Knowing what you believe about a topic is very important to the writing process. Applying that personal opinion to back your argument or stance helps to create a stronger one. Especially in rhetorical writing, the writer has to feel/believe a certain way about the topic. The technical writing in an academic setting can seem quite strict, but my students realize the rules of academic writing are simply there to make sure that your argument is as strong and impactful as you want it to be.
