About Kylie
Hi! My name is Kylie Wilkins and I am a senior at the University of Arkansas studying English Education at the secondary level. I have been a writing consultant at the campus's writing center going on 4 years, so I have lots of experience reading and revising essays! I am also a fan of creative writing! In 2019, I won 2nd place in the state of Arkansas for a creative short story I wrote, and am currently in the process of publishing my very first novel.

I fully believe that writing is a process that is unique to every individual, so my teaching method is to simply listen, guide, and encourage you in your writing/reading process! I like to partner with students and construct short-term and long-term goals with them to better understand their needs. I also like to design my lessons around my students -- so my lesson plans will be creative, fun, and all about you! Ultimately, I believe students should lead their own learning, and would love to be your learning partner! These lessons can be designed for any grades 7th and up!
