About Eric
For over 12 years, I’ve helped students transform into high-performing thinkers and achievers across math, science, English and history.
I don’t just tutor... I provide tools on how to learn, think, and communicate ideas with clarity and confidence. From AP/college-level courses to SAT/ACT prep, ESL, essay writing, and story analysis, I guide students to excel academically and creatively. As a filmmaker and screenwriter, I bring a unique lens to lessons, blending storytelling, literature, and analytical thinking to make learning engaging, memorable, and effective.
If you want more than grades, if you want students who own their learning and excel beyond expectations, you’ve found the right guide...

I’m a tutor with 12+ years of experience helping students develop strong skills in reading, writing, and critical thinking. My approach goes beyond grammar and comprehension—I focus on teaching students how to think, analyze, and communicate ideas clearly, both in school and in life.
I work with students on:
• Reading and literary analysis – exploring both classic and modern texts, including Homer, C. S. Lewis, J. R. R. Tolkien, as well as Aldous Huxley, Isaac Asimov, and Frank Herbert
• Essay writing & editing – structure, clarity, argumentation, and style
• Personal statements & resumes – presenting yourself effectively for college or work applications
• ESL support – vocabulary, fluency, reading comprehension, and writing
• Film and storytelling analysis – understanding narrative, themes, and character development
As a filmmaker and screenwriter, I bring a unique lens to lessons, showing students how stories are structured and how ideas can be expressed creatively and clearly.
My goal is not just to help students complete assignments, but to help them become independent, confident learners and communicators. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level and goals, making learning engaging, effective, and practical.
