I taught in private schools for 5 years. I had small classes from5-10 students which was great because I could spend more time with each. I was able to help some children actually learn what they needed even with learning disabilities.

My teaching method varies according to the need of the student. My favorite teaching method is students being hands on. I taught a section of California Missions history one year and we did things like having the children choose one Mission each and portraying it through art, report writing, poetry, play acting etc. We let the students each choose what they wanted to do.
