About Leonardo

I know that learning something new is always scary and requires patience. Particularly when it comes to languages, it can be intimidating. As an immigrant to an English-speaking country, I've been a student and still am, learning everything I can to teach it to someone else. However, I promise you that with all the knowledge I've acquired from my educational journey, both in University and in the job field, I will do everything in my power to make each lesson memorable, enjoyable, and, most of all, useful for you to apply all the knowledge learned with me in the real world once we conclude our linguistic practices.

I look forward to being your instructor and being able to help you with your linguistic journey.

With vast experience teaching multilevel students for the OCSB in both English and Spanish, I also work as a part-time supply English instructor for the CLLC institute, teaching older audiences. Knowledgeable about the different CLB levels required to assess language level and execute appropriate activities and lessons. I was also a member of the Spanish and English conversational group to help students improve their abilities in the language.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my capability to bond with the students, assess their level and their needs, and carry out appropriate assessments or activities that seem fit for their level. I'm patient, dedicated, and committed to getting the best out of each student.
