About Mhalyn
I have a 4 years of dedicated online English teaching experience
Special focus: young learners / children
Focus area: grammar made simple, fun, and easy to understand—not just memorizing rules
Works with a caring, patient, encouraging style that fits kids perfectly
Balances teaching with family life: a loving parent, currently expecting, which makes you extra thoughtful, gentle, and attentive to needs
Your Teaching Philosophy
“English isn’t just about rules—it’s about confidence, connection, and enjoying learning one small step at a time.”
You believe:
Every child can learn English when it’s explained simply and kindly
Grammar doesn’t have to be hard or boring—stories, examples, and familiar things make it stick
Learning happens best when a child feels safe, praised, and seen
Meeting learners where they are—no rushing, no pressure—builds skills that last

Learner-Centered & Adaptable
I start with who you’re teaching, what they already know, and what feels fun/relatable—especially for young kids. I avoid jargon, break big ideas into small, simple steps, and meet learners at their level:
For beginners → short phrases, pictures, chants, everyday examples
For growing learners → clear rules + practice + real use
I switch naturally between English and Tagalog where it helps understanding—no forced language barriers
