About Catherine
In primary school, I remember being so bored in English lessons. However, one day I read a book which interested me. From then on, I made a promise to myself to keep busy with the fun side of any book! I use colour all the time and try to do work in small enjoyable chunks of time. I’m also not a robot and don’t expect everything to go perfectly, mistakes happen and that ok! I love walking my dog, running, wild swimming and surfing. So, when I'm not revising or working, I'll be outside doing the hobbies that I love; that's why I try to keep to smaller working sessions.

I would love to help you learn however you find easiest and most comfortable. I have loads of experience with revising for English Literature exams, being a new graduate, so give me a chance to tell you some of my tips and tricks for exams! The best way to learn is to make things fun, so working sessions will be 1-2 hours. I am a visual learner so there will be plenty of opportunity to showcase coloured pens! I don't take spelling mistakes seriously. Instead, I prefer to focus on how to structure a sentence and efficiently revise for exams. My experience has been with ages between 10-18 as I have worked as a teaching assistant and (most recently) with Reaching Wider, a programme which enabled me to help engage with young people in many South Wales primary and secondary schools.
