About Nikola
I am a current final year English Literature & Theatre Studies student at the University of Leeds, on track to get a high 2:1/1st in my degree! I also studied higher-level English Literature in the International Baccalaureate achieving a 6/7 mark and 41/45 points overall. I'm very passionate about English literature and helping improve people's close reading, analysis, and essay writing. I also have a great love of the performing arts and media content production!

I'd preferably enjoy teaching young to mid-teens, as I feel that my experience so far has made me qualified and capable of teaching the content and skill level they are at.
My teaching style varies based on the individual, but I think the best way forward is if the student comes to class with specific questions, an essay excerpt, or literature text that we can then break down and discuss together. If they bring the material they are struggling with, we can discuss ways to improve things ranging from their written content and analysis to grammar and essay structures. Each lesson we will break down one aspect of what they are struggling with, such as using quotes or close reading. We can discuss the specifics of the assignment they are working on, and then talk about ways that they can implement these improvements in their future work and long-term learning.

For students under the age of 12, my rate is 10 pounds per hour, while for students over 12 I charge 15 pounds per hour.
