About Parya

My teaching approach is student-centred and flexible, shaped around each learner’s level, goals, and personality. I focus on communication first, supporting it with clear explanations of grammar and vocabulary taught in context rather than memorisation. A typical lesson includes a short warm-up or review, focused practice through speaking, reading, or listening, guided use of new language, and feedback that builds confidence without interrupting fluency. What sets me apart is my academic background in English Language and Literature, my experience teaching learners of different ages and levels, and my ability to teach with minimal reliance on translation, helping students think directly in English. My lessons are suitable for beginners to advanced learners, including school and university students, adults seeking practical communication skills, and those interested in academic or literature-based English.

A knowledgeable teacher who works tirelessly
I supervised Parya Zandsalimi during several online literature teaching sessions and observed her work closely. She has clearly demonstrated strong teaching skills, with the ability to explain both basic concepts and more complex literary ideas in a clear and accessible way.
What I value most about her teaching is her clarity, structure, and adaptability to students’ levels. Based on our shared teaching experience, I can confidently recommend Parya as a capable and effective tutor for literature students.View more recommendations
