About James

I have been a private tutor in languages and math for 3 years and am currently working on a secondary education degree. I am a native English speaker who lived in Brazil then married a Brazilian and we speak only Portuguese at home. I am also fairly good with Spanish.

About the lesson

I focus my language teaching on practical English; primarily useful vocabulary, common grammar, and the daily needs of the student. My students are very involved in the learning process and help guide which subjects will be covered first. I am very patient, having learned two new languages myself, and understand the process of mastering a language.

I meet James on Instagram and YouTube ( a_vida_em_ingles ) he’s so patient to teach me. I really recommend him to everyone, now I can understand, read and listen better everything. But I still learning with him because I couldn’t find other teacher like him. He is very flexible and professional and he lead me the better way to learn.
