About Danika
Hi! I'm Danika. As a traveler, I have a love for storytelling. I want you to feel inspired to tell your story and to learn the story of others. The students I have taught were navigating American high school classes or were new to college. This time is a period of great transition for English Language Learners and whether students are writing essays for school or for playing with their creative expression, the writing experience should be fun.

I love meeting students where they are! When I have a general understanding of each student's goals and expectations, I can personalize their learning experience further. I teach with the "I do, we do, you do" method; I demonstrate the skill, we work together, then you show me your own example. I want you to walk away confident in your writing.
