A Typical Lesson Plan:A standard tutoring session typically follows a three-part structure:
Warm-up and Review: A brief recap of previous material to reinforce learning and address any lingering questions. This helps set a clear context for the day’s session.
Core Instruction and Practice: Direct instruction or a mini-lesson on the current topic, followed by guided practice where students work through problems with my support. This often involves interactive elements, such as annotating texts, discussing interpretations, and practicing writing techniques.
Wrap-up and Reflection: A closing activity that synthesizes the session’s learning, often including a quick formative assessment or reflective question to gauge understanding and plan for the next meeting.
