About Zarina
Hello everyone! My name is Zarina, and I’m a native Russian speaker who is fluent in English! When one considers studying a new language, a strong sense of determination, effort, and patience immediately springs to mind. It is this that lies at the heart of my interest and enthusiasm. I have always been passionate about English. A passion for public speaking and debate led me to enter and win various worldwide tournaments. I have been tutoring IRL for 7 years, and online for over 2 years now for various levels and prepared students for different exams ranging from primary to secondary school levels. I myself have successfully taken a range of English-based exams (GCSE, IB, Pearson), hence I’m familiar with their formats and skills assessed. I can facilitate understanding of complex concepts by dividing the concept into “chunks” and illustrating with examples.

Zarina has helped me a lot lately. I have been struggling with perfect, past and future continuous, they all used to sound the same for me, but due to Zarina's great ability to comfort and teach I became really confident in those topics. I have been struggling to find the perfect books for my English level, which is B1. It always used to be either too hard or too easy for me, but Zarina was able to suggest the perfect books for me, which helped me to enhance my english level at a comforting speed. The books suggested by her were "The Catcher in The Rye", which became my favourite. Zarina was able to adapt to my energy levels, therefore planning the lessons according to them. She is the best!
