About Erin
I have been teaching, in one capacity or another, since I was four years old when I played school with my youngest sister. I tutored younger students and peers throughout high school and college, traveled to South Korea to teach kindergarten for five years, and then worked as a paraeducator and later as a substitute teacher when I returned to the United States. In 2016, I earned my Master's in Teaching and continued my journey as a middle school Language Arts teacher. I have been at the same school for eight years and have built a reputation as a passionate and effective teacher. I value respect and empathy and strive to meet my students' needs while enforcing high expectations. Meanwhile, I would never ask anything of a student that I would not do myself.
