I believe language arts is one of the most important subjects. Be it through essay writing, literary analysis, or comprehension, English equips us to communicate with clarity and creativity. My goal is to help students succeed academically while building skills in reading, writing, and critical thinking.
Lessons begin with the student’s immediate needs—an essay draft, test prep, or reading assignment—before moving into targeted instruction.
My sessions are best suited for middle school to undergraduate students, whether they’re building fundamentals or refining advanced work. I adapt to each learner’s level, goals, and style to make English a subject they can master—and confidently add to their skill set.

TAKE THIS TEACHER! That's my recommendation! Emma is, without a doubt, the most focused tutor I've had. She is reliable because she has a good sense of direction, she never gets too distracted with anything, and stays on topic, keeping the lesson structured. She has this great resource for essay writing too, which answered all my questions, like she could read my mind! It was amazing!
She's a master without a Master's, let me tell you. I don't think I've had a tutor quite so knowledgeable about writing and culture. She's well read and delivers her information so so so clearly. I've learned so much about what literature has influenced popculture from this young lady that I think I got an extra course for free! I couldn't recommend her more! Absolutely the best experience with you, Emma.
Emma is an amazing English tutor. She helped me with my essays and helped me master formatting and delivering a clear and elegant argument for whatever I was talking about. I've never had anyone who so cleanly organized herself and all her material as well. Sign up with Emma right away, you won't regret it!
