About Laila
While I am an English major going into editing professionally, I wanted to be a college professor for a long time. That interest left me with an abundance of knowledge from teaching classes. Since going married in January of 2023 I have been looking for ways to make a little extra income. As far as credentials, I began taking college English courses by the time I was a freshman in high school. I am still working on my own education, but I’d be happy to help others with theirs along the way. If you have any questions in regards to my abilities, please don’t hesitate to ask!

My classes would mean a scheduled meeting either virtually or in-person (for locals) to either improve or foster new English skills. I will do my best to learn how each of my students learn the most efficiently and capitalise those strategies to meet your goals. I offer everything from teaching children to read teaching adults how to write that pesky college essay. I’m available for one time meetings over a certain issue or longer term lessons for broad skills. I may also help with writing advice and proofreading. Special needs are welcome without extra charge.
