About Ashton

Hello , my name is Ashton. I'm from Johannesburg, South Africa. I recently completed a advanced TEFL diploma with i-to-i. I have over 5 and a half years experience in the banking industry. In my free time I am the business administrator for girlsskate_southafrica where we empower young women through skateboarding.

About the lesson

I am an open minded individual who aims to bring a positive attitude, compassion and high expectations into the classroom everyday, encouraging learners to speak their minds and take all learning opportunities in their stride. I believe that each and every individual is deserving of a safe and stimulating environment where they are able to grow mentally, emotionally, socially as well as physically. I believe that all individuals are unique and have something special that they can bring to their own education.

I teach and tutor in English.
I prefer teaching beginner to intermediate level.

Ashton has a very good work ethic and always puts the needs of others above her own needs. Not only a hard worker but also a quick learner and very hands-on. She helped my daughter excel in understanding and speaking the English language and she has all the patience in the world. I would 100% recommend her.
