About Jenalla
Hi there, I'm Jenalla - a 21y/o Oxford student with over 500 hours of experience in tutoring French, Music and Theory, Piano, Singing, History and English to a range of skillsets!
Having attended a Music Academy for two years, I play piano and sing proficiently, both to Grade 8 and above. Healthy technique is paramount and I make sure to affirm this no matter the genre or style!
I am a student of French and Linguistics at the University of Oxford, and alongside French speaking skills, I can help develop grammar, listening & reading competencies. I also prepare my students for A-Levels and GCSES, with the same revision and practice tips that helped me achieve A* grades.
I achieved A*s in GCSE French, English, Music, History, RE & Politics (2021), and A*A*A in A-Level Music, History & French (2023).

Hi! I’m Jenalla, and I offer English tutoring! I achieved A*s at GCSE English, and have helped my students jump from grade 3s to grade 6s in a matter of weeks. I currently study French and Linguistics at the University of Oxford so I am able to provide a wide range of help for exam prep, revision and general consolidation. Moreover, I have taught ESL both in the UK and abroad, taking part in volunteer programmes as well as private classes. I have also been allocated a post as a British Council English Language Assistant in Paris, starting in October 2026.
Lessons usually range from 45 to 60 minutes, during which we will focus on areas of concern using teaching materials tailored to each student. For students taking exams, we will also make use of exam papers and rubrics to sharpen the techniques that make a successful candidate.
I teach students the English curriculum from primary to GCSE, and also tutor ESL learners of all ages.

I like the extra worksheets & lesson powerpoints that Jenalla makes for lessons. She is friendly and organised which makes things easy to follow. I learned piano from her and would recommend - Forrest.
