About Sophie
I am currently working towards getting a bachelor's degree in English with publishing, and have completed an English literature GSCE/A Level (getting a 9 and A* respectively). I have also done some work experience at a primary level, which developed both my patience as well as my ability to communicate ideas in an easily digestible way.

I approach English with an empathetic angle, as it is clear that it can be very overwhelming, as an area that is completely subjective- having so much to tackle all at once. In my tutoring, I would have any students (A Level/ GCSE or below) bring their worries or work they are finding tricky for us to work through together. The ultimate goal of my tutoring would be to have the student feel overall more confident in their abilities, eventually being able to do the work they found so difficult become something they find natural (or at least easier)!
