My teaching methodology is centered around immersion and practical application. By integrating multimedia resources into lessons, students are exposed to the Portuguese language as it is used in various contexts, from everyday conversations to more formal settings. This exposure helps in developing a nuanced understanding of the language, including its informal and formal registers.

I hold a degree in Film from a university in the United States, an experience that not only honed my skills in visual storytelling but also enriched my pedagogical strategies. While I do not possess formal certifications in language teaching, my practical experience in teaching Portuguese, coupled with my academic background, has equipped me with the necessary skills to offer high-quality language education.

My subject expertise extends to Brazilian Portuguese, with a focus on both spoken and written forms of the language. Through personalized lesson plans, I aim to meet the individual needs of each student, whether they seek to improve their conversational abilities, understand Brazilian media, or acquire a comprehensive grasp of the language for professional purposes.
