About Emily
I am an artist and have a BA degree in art from McMaster University. I have experience with many different media and a range of styles, such as watercolour, acrylic, oils, pencil drawing, hand-lettering/calligraphy, and sculpture. I have taught workshops to youth, and also have taught lessons to children and adults for a total of 8 years. With enthusiasm, patience, and positivity, I can teach anyone to embrace their creative side!

I aim most of my teaching towards beginners, and often hear people say in the beginning of learning that they don't feel creative, but towards the end their confidence grows. I will break everything down into simple steps, so that anyone can follow along. I adjust my teaching style with the person/people who I am working with.
