About Maximilian
Hello, I’m Max. I studied Politics and Philosophy at the University of Sheffield, graduating with strong results and a real enthusiasm for helping others understand complex ideas. I’ve taught in schools abroad and worked with students at different levels, which has given me a flexible approach to explaining topics clearly and in ways that make sense to each learner. I want to teach because I enjoy seeing students grow in confidence — whether that’s mastering exam technique, improving essay writing, or finally clicking with a subject that once felt difficult. I know what it’s like to feel unsure, and I make sure my lessons are supportive, structured, and focused on real progress. You can expect me to be organised, approachable, and professional. I’ll bring not only strong subject knowledge but also patience and encouragement to every lesson. My goal is to help you achieve the results you want while also developing skills that will last you far beyond the classroom.

I offer engaging, tailored tutoring that builds confidence and exam skills. My lessons (usually 60 minutes) mix clear explanations with interactive practice, focusing on understanding as well as results. I hold a BA in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Sheffield and have experience teaching and tutoring TEFL in the UK and abroad. I specialise in English and GCSE and A-Level History, Sociology, Religion and Philosophy, but also support younger and older students with study skills and essay writing.
