About Sam
I am an aspiring illustrator/ concept artist based in Perth Western Australia. I've been drawing for most of life and am currently perusing illustration as a full time career. I am new to tutoring but I have invested a lot of time learning the fundamentals of drawing and painting and figuring how to reinterpret those principles to tell the story that you want to tell.

While I love getting into the technical aspects of the fundamentals and demonstrating how to practice and eventually apply those teachings into the piece that you want to create, my opinion on art as a whole is that it is more of a mental battle than it is than just a pursuit of a particular skill set. There are so many other factors that play into what kind of story you want to tell and my job is to give you the tools and the insight needed to tell the best story that YOU want to create!
