About Taringana
I hold an Honours degree in Biotechnology and Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Management with Stellenbosch university. My research was on DNA barcoding of plants, so I'm proficient in genetics and molecular biology.
I have one year teaching experience with various age groups, from Grade 4 up to undergraduate level. I teach environmental science, plant biology and fungi biology. I also have experience teaching English online to people from all over the world.

I base my classes on what curriculum the student is studying. I tend to focus on the most relevant points and I adjust my teaching approach according to the student. I like to engage students; I go for an active lesson that is more like conversation, so I ask a lot of questions. This helps the student to reach curtain conclusions on their own, and it helps them retain information better.
