About Yegor
Hi! I’m a soon-to-be Master’s student at EPFL, with a BSc in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the Higher School of Economics in Russia (Advanced Programming Track). I have a GPA of 9.37/10, ranking in the top 1.2% of all students.
I’ve gained hands-on experience at top tech companies like Yandex and Kaspersky, and I currently work as a Machine Learning Engineer at VK.
As a competitive programmer, I’ve participated in 40+ contests, reached a Codeforces peak rating of 2177 (top 1% globally), and won national Olympiads.
I’m fluent in English (IELTS 8.0) and Russian, and I’m passionate about breaking down complex ideas into simple, clear explanations. Whatever your background, I’m confident we’ll find a common language and learning pace that works for you.

- Train for contests like IOI, ICPC, or national Olympiads
- Understand computer science fundamentals through real-world examples
What are the lessons like?
Each session is personalized to your level and objectives. A typical lesson may include:
- A quick review of your progress or homework
- Explanation of a new concept with live coding examples
- Solving problems together, step by step
