About Emily
I am a local teacher who recently moved back to the U.S. from South Korea. While abroad, I worked as an English teacher. Before that, I taught in Chicago and Louisiana. My degrees are in Elementary Education and Intercultural/Urban Studies. I enjoy meeting people from around the world and connecting with others through art, music, food, and nature.

I structure lessons around current events and seasonal practices to encourage fluid conversation practice and natural vocabulary acquisition while providing coordinating exercises to enhance reading and writing ability. Lesson plans used can range anywhere from elementary age students to adults.
