About Melvin
Hello! I’m Teacher Melvz, a 35-year-old ESL teacher from Al Ain with four years of teaching experience and a certified TESOL qualification.
Teaching has always been my passion, which is why I chose to pursue a career in education. Over the years, I’ve discovered how rewarding it is to help students improve their sentence construction, communication skills, and overall confidence in using English.
For me, learning English doesn’t have to be difficult or boring. I believe that one of the keys to learning effectively is to enjoy the process. Be consistent, keep practicing, and most importantly, don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Every mistake is an opportunity to learn and improve.
I’m excited to meet you, learn with you, and help you become a more confident English speaker.

During my 25-minute classes, I apply a 70/30 teaching approach, where students are encouraged to do most of the talking and actively participate in the lesson. This approach gives students more opportunities to practice constructing sentences, expressing their ideas, and communicating naturally in English.
Over my four years of teaching experience, I have found this approach to be highly effective in helping students develop their communication skills and become more confident English speakers.
Whether you are a young learner, a student, a young professional, or an IELTS taker, I will tailor my lessons to your needs and learning goals. My goal is not only to teach you English but also to help you develop the confidence and skills you need to use English in real-life situations.
