About Mackenzie
Hi everyone! My name is Miss. Mackenzie and I love helping students in English! I am currently student teaching and will become a B-6 teacher in the fall of 2023. I enjoy teaching students how to read and write. In my lessons I like to keep the students engaged by including a game in my session!

When taking lessons with me, I can assure you that you will have fun while also learning. Normally in my lessons I will do a bellringer with the students to get their brains thinking. Next I dive into the lesson and use an "I do, We do, You do" approach. I will demonstrate the concept, we will do it together, and then they will practice independtly. Finally I always like to end my tutoring sessions with a game.
