About Bismah
Growing up, I thought everyone loved biology. What a world we all have inside us! So you can imagine my shock when I learned not everyone does - and I'm here to change that!
With 4 years of medical education covered, I have an in-depth understanding of biology and chemistry at advanced levels, which I'm eager to share with you. Being a student myself, I fully understand what goes through a student's mind - all the questions, confusions, and fears. So think of me as your friendly big sister, and embark on this journey with me to make learning an enjoyable and rewarding experience!

With nearly 4 years of online teaching experience in my pocket, I bring to the table supportive, interactive, and effective lessons to help students understand complex concepts and succeed in their exams. I primarily cater to:
- GCSE/IGCSE (AQA, OCR, Edexcel, CAIE),
- A Level
- AP students,
- Pre-med and medical students,
but I'm always delighted to teach younger minds, too!
A big part of how I teach: every lesson includes real-time, hand-drawn digital notes and diagrams, so you leave with a clear visual record of what we covered — not just a memory of it. I also give a summary at the end of each lesson and a recap at the start of the next, so concepts actually stick rather than fading between sessions.
What you can expect from lessons with me:
- Personalized learning plans built around your exam board and goals
- Visual, illustrated explanations you can revisit anytime
- Clear breakdowns of the topics you find trickiest
- Steady reinforcement through end-of-lesson recaps
- Exam-focused practice, including mock tests and exam strategies
Above all, I aim to create a patient, supportive environment where questions are always welcome, and mistakes are simply part of learning.
My lessons are usually 50 minutes long, but I'm always willing to give more time whenever needed. My students' understanding and confidence are my top priority. Whether you need help with getting better scores, increasing your confidence in exam prep, or just learning more about biology, I would love to work with you!
