About Corey
I am a native English speaking Canadian teacher with a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, and a Masters in English Language Teaching, plus two Canadian teaching certificates. I am a PhD student in English and Education at the University of New Brunswick, one of the oldest universities in Canada. I have 25 years of teaching and teacher training experience with schools, colleges and universities in Canada, Colombia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Tunisia, China, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia and Oman. In addition to English, I also speak French, Spanish and Turkish.

I like to get to know my students, and use a learner-centered approach to my teaching. I enjoy tailoring the materials and activities to meet the needs and interests of my students. As a language teacher, I focus developing all four skills - reading, writing, listening and speaking. Over the years, I have created many interactive online learning resources, and like to keep students engaged and having fun.
