About Niti
My approach to teaching Spanish is rooted in making language practical, personalised, and empowering. I believe that students learn best when they’re engaged in meaningful communication, not simply reciting grammar rules or vocabulary lists. From day one, I encourage learners to use Spanish actively in conversation, even if it’s just simple phrases. I create an immersive and interactive environment where students practise speaking and listening in context, often through role-plays, visuals, storytelling, and conversation prompts that mirror real-life situations. At the same time, I teach grammar and structure in a logical, supportive way—breaking down concepts into manageable steps and showing how they function in everyday use. My students don’t just memorise—they internalise grammar by seeing it in action and using it themselves. I also emphasise cultural fluency, exposing learners to different accents, customs, expressions, and traditions from various Spanish-speaking countries. Whether through music, short films, news articles, or food-related discussions, students gain a deeper appreciation for the diverse voices behind the language. Technology is another key component of my lessons. I incorporate apps, digital flashcards, videos, and interactive exercises that reinforce learning in a fun, effective way. I also provide customised study materials tailored to each student’s pace, goals, and interests. Ultimately, I strive to build an environment where students feel confident, challenged, and inspired to communicate with clarity and heart—because language, at its core, is a tool for human connection.
