About Pancras
With over 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to helping students excel in mathematics. My teaching journey has spanned middle school, high school, and advanced topics like calculus, working with students in Ghana, South Africa, and the United States. This global experience has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of diverse educational systems and cultural approaches to learning. I have extensive experience working with a variety of curricula, including Cambridge A and AS Levels, the IB Curriculum, IEB, and preparation for standardized tests like the SATs. I use a step-by-step approach to simplify complex topics, integrating visual aids, real-world examples, and interactive tools like Desmos and graphing calculators. I scaffold lessons to build on prior knowledge, encouraging active participation and problem-solving. For difficult concepts, I break them into manageable parts and use analogies to make them relatable.
