About Deanna
I am highly committed and motivated to supporting pupil growth by grounding their understanding of how to succeed at high school level. I have always been passionate about getting students to realize, as well as reach their full potential academically. I recognize the value this holds, as it is a springboard for their future. I have always really enjoyed teaching and believe that comes across in my rapport with students.

In lessons, I commit to breaking tasks down step by step to ensure the learning objective is met with certainty. I will always introduce the topic/skill in a casual discussion starter and then break it down as minuscule as possible, to ensure deep understanding is rooted early on. This has proved great success for my English Language and Literature students in my 10 years of teaching. I have also been an examiner for AQA and Cambridge examining boards, where I have gained very precise knowledge on how to succeed in exams.
