About Melissa
I hold a B.S. in Business Administration and I am also a certified TESOL instructor. I've spent the last six years tutoring/teaching students aged 3-16 in English, basic math, science, and social studies.
I've maintained a perfect 5 star/apple score with both of my other clients for an excellent teaching reputation and noticeable results in my students' performance.
I have experience working with students that have learning or behavioral concerns. I've worked successfully with students that had conditions like FASD, ADHD, and other developmental/learning disabilities.

I typically work with children age 4-16 and will consider working with older students as well. In my other teaching outlets I've been rated with perfect scores over the past 6 years. I specialize in working with children who have learning and behavioral differences. I've worked with children with FASD, ADHD, and other developmental delays.
I like to try to make our lessons fun as it helps keep the students engaged in the class. I use a combination of resources to find the best way to reach my students. Some of these resources include online learning resources, books, games, songs, and more.
