About Mehak

Hi, I’m Mehak! My approach to chemistry can be summed up in one sentence: I love finding simple, stress-free ways to solve incredibly hard problems.

Chemistry has a reputation for being an absolute GPA-killer, whether you are a high schooler taking it for the first time or a first-year university student trying to survive General Chemistry. Too often, professors and textbooks make these concepts sound like a foreign language. That is where I come in. I am deeply passionate about education, and I pour 100% of my hard work and energy into making the molecular world make sense to you.

My Teaching Philosophy: Simplify the Science

I don't believe in forcing students to blindly memorize dense formulas. Instead, I specialize in breaking down complex topics into intuitive shortcuts, visual maps, and relatable analogies. If you are stuck on a brutal equilibrium ICE table, a massive stoichiometry conversion, or abstract quantum orbitals, I will show you the exact step-by-step "hacks" I use to make the answers obvious.

Why Work With Me?

I am relentlessly hardworking: Your goals become my goals. I am fully invested in your success, and I will patiently stick with a concept, attacking it from five different angles, until I see that "aha!" moment in your eyes.

I bridge the gap to university: I know exactly what high schoolers need to learn to be prepared for college, and I know exactly how to help university freshmen manage the brutal speed of college-level Gen Chem.

Energy and Encouragement: Chemistry anxiety is real. I bring a warm, positive, and high-energy environment to every session so you feel comfortable asking questions and building real confidence.

No matter how lost or overwhelmed you feel right now, we can fix it. Let’s team up, put in the work, and crush your next chemistry exam together!

About the lesson

Passionate & Results-Driven Chemistry Tutor (High School & University Gen Chem)

Hello! I am a deeply passionate and hardworking chemistry tutor dedicated to helping students unlock their full potential. I know firsthand that chemistry has a reputation for being intimidating, boring, and overwhelming. My goal is to completely change that perspective for you.

I don't believe in dry memorization or making things harder than they need to be. My teaching philosophy centers on finding easy, intuitive ways to solve seemingly impossible problems. Whether you are drowning in complex high school stoichiometry or losing sleep over university-level equilibrium ICE tables, I break down abstract molecular concepts into simple, digestible shortcuts and relatable analogies.

What you can expect from our sessions:

Tailored Shortcuts: I will teach you the exact step-by-step methods and visual "hacks" to get to the right answer quickly on exams.

Unwavering Support: I am a tireless worker who is fully invested in your academic success. I don't give up on a concept until it completely clicks for you.

An Inspiring Environment: My genuine love for science is contagious. I bring high energy, patience, and positivity to every single hour we work together.

Let’s stop the frustration and start building your confidence. Whether you want to catch up, stay ahead, or crush your next big midterm, I am ready to put in the work with you!
