About Jack
I am an English teacher from the UK who has five years' experience teaching English at all levels. After completing my Bachelor's degree in languages at the University of Cambridge, I moved to Spain to work in a primary school and a language academy with children and adults who wanted to learn English. One year later I came to Norway and am now the owner of my own online language school, with students all over Norway!
I have lots of experience with preparing students for the IELTS exam. All my former students have received the grade they needed to be able to take an English-language Bachelor's or Master's degree in Norway!
I also accept students who want to learn French and Spanish. I have a degree in these languages, and I speak them fluently. Right now I am giving basic courses in both languages to several students.

You're the boss, as we say in English! The biggest of many benefits of private lessons is that you, the student, are in the driver's seat. We do not go through boring books from cover to cover: I tailor the course to your needs, goals and interests. Whether you want to speak better English at work, get your desired grade on an exam, or deepen your knowledge of English literature, your course will be designed with this in mind.
I place great emphasis on spoken production. Speaking without fear is the key to language mastery. I am committed to creating a pleasant and safe environment where you can use and improve your English skills to achieve your goals.
