About William
I've been working as a 3D Generalist for more than 10 years. I've worked on projects for companies such as BBC UK, Manchester City FC, Epic Games and Nivea.
I've also created content for record labels and events such as UKF, Hospitality and Drum & Bass Arena.
I teach Cinema 4D, Octane Render and Unreal Engine, braching out into Blender and Houdini when need be. I also taech texturing workflow using Subtance Painter, and Post Production / VFX Compositing in After Effects. As an active freelancer, I use this software on a daily basis in my workflow.
I also touch on some of the latest AI tools, be it generating 3D Models, physics-based animation, Markerless motion capture and Gaussian Splatting.
More about me - I'm a Dad, I work from home where I live with my Wife and 5-year-old daughter. Before I entered the world of 3D I was a DJ/Producer and active memeber of the Nottingham Music Scene. I also worked as a mental health support worker for around 7 years, with further training in teaching.

I mainly use a visual approach to teaching, with the main focus on demonstration. Many aspects of theory will be covered and explained, to help you gain a better understanding of how the software works, giving you more space to get creative and reach your goals faster.
I also cover fundamental principals of film-making, be it video composition, colour theory and timing.
I'm quite laid back, adaptable and able to offer lessons to cover specific areas of CG on request.
