About Martin
I am an experienced tutor confident with my materials. I started practicing Chinese Calligraphy since I was 4 (10 years in total) and I taught Chinese Calligraphy in English to young children and adults in my free time in high school in Boston (3 years in total). Such an experience made me a senior calligrapher and an excellent teacher while fluent in both Mandarin and English. I am genuinely passionate in teaching and willingly patient with students, not only teaching contents but also serving as a friend, listener, and role model. I provide students a safe and welcoming environment and make learning a joyful experience.

My lessons can be taught in both Mandarin and in English, suitable for students at any level of understanding of calligraphy art - No foundational knowledge or skill required. Lessons are customized for each student based on level of skillfulness. Teaching methodology is also adjusted for different age groups. In other words, anyone at any skill level, any degree of understanding of Chinese culture, and any age could become my student. Content of lessons includes learning, copying, and imitating ancient script fonts. Students with enough skill and understanding can be advanced to learn the semi-cursive script. Calligraphy supplies provided.

Excellent! I am appreciate the time and showing me calligraphy. it's beautiful ! it would be nice to write calligraphy with both hand available. hopefully in future have a lesson that I can learn right the love and forgiveness very well.
