My teaching approach is student-centered, engaging, and adapted to each learner's needs. I believe that biology is best understood through inquiry, critical thinking, and connecting scientific concepts to real-life situations rather than memorization alone.
I begin by assessing each student's current level of understanding and identifying any learning gaps. Based on this assessment, I create personalized lessons that build confidence while progressively developing deeper scientific knowledge.
My teaching techniques include:
- Simplifying complex biological concepts using clear explanations, videos, and visual diagrams.
- Encouraging active learning through discussion, questioning, and problem-solving.
- Using concept maps, illustrations, and real-life examples to improve understanding.
- Providing regular practice questions and exam-style exercises.
- Teaching effective study skills and examination strategies.
- Offering constructive feedback and continuous progress monitoring.
With years of experience teaching biology and science, I adapt my methods to suit each student's learning style and academic goals.
