About Benjamin

Hi, I’m Benjamin—a dedicated and reliable college student majoring in a STEM field with a strong background in math, science, and chemistry. With several years of academic excellence and tutoring experience, I understand how challenging these subjects can be—and how to make them more approachable and even enjoyable. I bring patience, clarity, and structure to every lesson. My goal is not just to help you improve your grades, but to make sure you truly understand the material and feel confident applying it on your own. Whether you’re preparing for exams, catching up on missed content, or striving to get ahead, I tailor each session to your specific needs.

About the lesson

As a college student majoring in a STEM field, I, Benjamin, approach tutoring with clarity, patience, and a deep passion for helping students truly understand what they’re learning—not just memorize it. My teaching method is rooted in breaking complex ideas into simple, digestible concepts using visuals, real-life examples, and lots of practice. I focus heavily on helping students build confidence in problem-solving by guiding them through each step, then encouraging them to try similar problems on their own.

A typical lesson starts with a quick review of key concepts, followed by working through problems together. I then tailor the session based on where the student is struggling—whether it’s understanding theory, applying formulas, or analyzing lab results. Every lesson ends with a recap and a few take-home strategies to help them retain what they've learned.

What sets me apart is that I’ve been in the same classrooms recently—I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed by math or chemistry, and I explain things in a way that clicks for students. I don’t just teach content; I also share study tips, time management tricks, and ways to stay ahead in class.

My lessons are ideal for middle school, high school, and early college students looking for support in general science, algebra, geometry, chemistry, or physics. Whether you're aiming for top grades or just trying to pass the class, I meet you where you are and help you get where you want to be.
