About Peter
I'm Peter. I’m currently studying composition as a Postgraduate the Royal Northern College of Music, and it's been my life's dream to pursue instrumental music and sustain a career in it. My ultimate goal is to write music for video games! I hold the Purcell Prize from King's College London and the Adam Gorb award from the RNCM, and have had music performed in the US and the UK. I also play the bass!

I make sure each lesson matches the requirements and interests of the student. I try and keep a good mix between fun and diverse material and looking at musical nuts and bolts (harmony, rhythm, etc). I'm happy to work from a book if you have ABRSM, GCSE or A Level teaching material you would like support on. I am equally happy to work more freely on whatever you find interesting!

Perfect! I am learning so much about composing from each session, the best tutor ever!! He helped me so much with composing and taught me a lot about the mindsets/habits of composers!! Each week he would recommend me lots of expanded pieces to listen to and I always enjoyed them a lot. Thank youu

Peter is, in my experience, world class. He has an incredibly thorough understanding of music theory and composition history. I met him through school, and he has taught me a lot. He is a patient and calm person who is very accommodating to different learning styles.
I had Peter as a student at the United Nations International School. He was a dedicated student and bassist. Peter excelled at the tasks I assigned and demonstrated a high level of musical understanding. Peter is a very polite and professional young man. I believe he would make an excellent tutor, and has a wealth of knowledge to draw from
