Toshio studied Piano with Christina Petrowska Quilico, a student of the legendary Rosina Lhevinne, composition with Keith Sokol, and Guitar with Faculty of Humber College. Toshio teaches various styles of composition to beginning, intermediate and advanced musicians - theory, Ableton, Max/Msp/Jitter, Logic, FMOD, Bandlab, Sonar, and virtual instruments. As a composer, he scores for films, games, stock libraries and writes pop/rock beats for singers. His students receive high marks on exams and have won 1st place prizes in provincial competitions. For online lessons, he uses an audio routing software that enables students to receive clear sound from his Piano.

Toshio's life is revolved around his students. Even outside his lessons he shares his work - recordings, performances, and explains how his teachings are used in the real world. I am very lucky to learn from him!
