About Angela
My dance journey began as a teenager in the charming hutongs of Beijing, where I first discovered the art of ballet. I went on to train in one of Beijing’s professional ballet schools, and later continued refining my skills through graduate-level ballet studies. Over the decades, my passion for movement expanded into the worlds of yoga and group fitness, where I became a certified instructor in both Zumba and yoga. Through this lifelong exploration, I have developed a deep, intuitive understanding of how the body moves, aligns, and heals. I’m here to share that wealth of experience and technique with you—so you can progress in your dance journey with fluidity, grace, and confidence, while avoiding common setbacks and frustrations along the way.

As a seasoned group fitness instructor with experience teaching yoga, Zumba, and other dance forms, I’ve discovered that belly dance stands apart as my absolute favorite. This art form has a unique power — it helps you gain control of your mind and body, and in turn, builds confidence that radiates into every area of your life. Through my classes, I’m excited to share the experiences, insights, and progressive techniques that have transformed my own practice. With personalized one-on-one cueing and attention to detail, I’m confident you’ll achieve a level of mastery in bellydance and empowerment in your other aspects of life. Anyone is welcome, no matter professions, age, body shape. Special mom and daughter class is welcome for $40 per hour. With deep understanding and breakdowns of movements, you will feel in control and create your routines.
